There is a particular kind of uncertainty that exists at a crossroads. You know you’re not staying where you were, but you're not yet sure what waits on the other side.
Crossroads was created to capture that in-between space…the strange moment when you know the familiar is nearing its end but the next chapter hasn't taken shape yet.
The boots woven into the piece represent the idea of moving forward. Made from layers of newspaper, fabric, and texture, they reference the paths we've already taken and the experiences that come with choosing a new one.
For me, a crossroads isn't necessarily about choosing between right and wrong. It’s simply the moment when you have to decide whether or not you're even willing to go.
